RFC callback call rejected by whitelist

Last time during the update ST-PI plugin I received dump with runtime error: “CALLBACK_REJECTED_BY_WHITELIST”. This error occured for two function module: TRINT_PROGRESS_INDICATOR and TRINT_TP_UPDATE_TPSTAT. Below You’ll find more information.

Dumps look like on the two screens below. They are related to the parameter: rfc/callback_security_method  which is set as “3”. More information about this parameter can be found in SAP Note: 1971118.

SOLUTION

To avoid the above dumps You have to run transaction SM59 and find the proper destination – in my case, it is: “C_TP_00_XXXXXX“. Simply add both callback function module like on the below screen, save configuration and that’s all.
