SAP HANA – Zoom of LOB columns is not enabled

Sometimes You need to preview the contents of some column in Hana Studio and You get an error like one the below screen…

Solution

To enable the zoom of LOB, go to Hana Studio and choose from the menu: Windows -> Preferences -> SAP HANA -> Runtime -> Result

1. Enable zoom of LOB columns – allow You to preview the content of the column.
2. Limit for Zoom (bytes) – increase if content is not completed.
