SAP Solution Manager 7.2 – problem with job: SAP_LMDB_DOWNLOAD_CONTENT

Last time in the Job log of “SM:LMDB Generic Upload” I saw the error: “HTTP client: receive method failed with return code SY_SUBRC 1“. Below You’ll find solution for this issue…

A little more information from log:

Solution

1. Ensure that the certificates have been configured properly in STRUST. For details, see SAP NetWeaver Download Service (SAP Help Portal). 
2. Ensure that the internet connectivity has been configured properly:
   • Check Proxy Configuration in transaction SDS_CONFIGURATION
   • Ensure that the firewall in the application server allows internet access

When I corrected the PROXY configuration the job: SAP_LMDB_DOWNLOAD_CONTENT performed correctly.
